Book OnlineEngagement Rings
You can browse and order an engagement ring directly from our website or arrange a consultation with one of our jewellery specialists — either in person at our showroom or virtually from the comfort of your home.
Every ring, whether chosen from our existing collection or designed entirely from scratch, is crafted to order using the diamond or gemstone you select. Nothing leaves our workshop until it meets our quality standards.
Creating a bespoke ring with Bond Jewellery & Diamonds is a personal, guided journey from idea to finished piece. Here's what to expect:
- Book a consultation — choose an in-person or virtual appointment. You'll be paired with an experienced jewellery specialist who will guide you through the entire process.
- Share your vision — we'll ask a few questions beforehand to understand your style, budget and timeline so we're fully prepared for your appointment.
- Explore your design options — during the consultation, we'll discuss every detail, from stone shapes and settings to metal types and finishing touches.
- Choose your stone — view a hand-picked selection of diamonds or gemstones chosen specifically for your preferences, and compare quality grades with expert guidance.
- Approve the final design — we'll produce a detailed CAD render of your ring, and you can request changes until every detail is exactly right.
Once approved, your ring is crafted in-house and typically ready within 4–6 weeks. We'll confirm your exact completion date at the time of ordering.
This is one of the most common concerns we hear — and there's no need to worry. Our team is very experienced at estimating ring size, and we can help guide you during a consultation based on a few simple details.
If the fit isn't quite right after the proposal, we offer a complimentary resize within 60 days of delivery or collection. See our Ring Size Guide for additional tips on measuring discreetly.
Yes — we offer both natural and lab grown diamond engagement rings across all of our styles and settings.
Lab grown diamonds are chemically and visually identical to natural diamonds — the difference lies in how they are formed. They offer outstanding value, excellent quality grades and a lower environmental footprint, making them a popular choice for modern couples. Natural diamonds remain highly sought after for their rarity and enduring symbolism.
Our specialists will walk you through both options honestly, helping you choose based on what matters most to you.
Production typically takes 4–5 weeks. We recommend allowing 6–7 weeks in total to give yourself comfortable time to finalise your design and place your order.
If you're working to a tighter deadline, get in touch and we'll explore the fastest options available for you.
We understand how important this decision is, and we want every couple to be delighted with their ring. If your partner would prefer a different style, we offer redesign consultations and modifications depending on the ring and materials involved.
For non-bespoke purchases, our returns policy applies within the eligible window. Please contact our team and we will find the best solution together.
Here's a quick glossary of some of the most frequently used ring design terms:
- Solitaire — a timeless style featuring a single centre stone set on a clean, elegant band.
- Halo — a frame of smaller diamonds encircling the centre stone, adding brilliance and the appearance of greater size.
- Pavé — (pronounced pah-vay) tiny diamonds set closely along the band to create a continuous surface of sparkle.
- Cathedral — a setting where the band arches gracefully upward to support the centre stone, adding height and drama.
- Hidden halo — a row of diamonds tucked beneath the centre stone, visible only from the side — a beautiful secret detail.
- Toi et Moi — a two-stone setting representing two individuals united — growing in popularity as a meaningful alternative to the traditional solitaire.
Wedding Rings
We recommend placing your wedding ring order at least three months before your wedding date. Every ring is crafted to order, and production takes approximately 4–5 weeks — so ordering early gives you peace of mind and time for any personal touches such as engraving.
If your timeline is tighter than expected, please get in touch and we will discuss the best available options.
Absolutely. We specialise in creating wedding bands that sit perfectly alongside your engagement ring — whether that means a flush fit, a shaped band or a complementary design.
If your engagement ring has a unique profile, we can craft a fully bespoke wedding band to match it exactly. Book a consultation and bring your engagement ring along so we can ensure a seamless pairing.
We offer a wide range of men's wedding rings across a variety of styles and premium metals, including:
- Platinum — exceptionally durable and naturally white, requiring minimal maintenance
- 18ct Yellow Gold — a warm, classic choice with timeless appeal
- 18ct White Gold — sleek and contemporary
- 18ct Rose Gold — distinctively warm and modern
Finishes range from high polish to satin, brushed and engraved. We can also incorporate diamonds or other gemstones upon request — everything is tailored to your exact preference.
Yes — personalised engraving is a wonderful way to make your rings truly unique. We can engrave a date, initials, a short phrase or any meaningful message inside your bands. Please note there is a character limit, and engraving adds approximately one additional week to production.
If you plan to resize your ring, we recommend confirming the fit before engraving, as resizing may require re-engraving. Get in touch to discuss your engraving options.
Finger size can fluctuate over time due to temperature, lifestyle or other factors — this is completely normal. If you need a resize before the wedding, we offer complimentary resizing within 60 days of your ring's completion. We generally recommend a final size check around 6–8 weeks before the big day for complete peace of mind.
Diamonds & Gemstones
In every measurable sense — chemically, physically and visually — lab grown diamonds are real diamonds. The difference lies entirely in origin: natural diamonds form deep within the earth over billions of years, while lab grown diamonds are produced using advanced scientific processes that replicate those exact conditions.
Both options are independently certified and ethically sourced. Our specialists will help you compare the value, provenance and qualities of each so you can make the choice that feels right for you.
Yes. Every diamond we sell — natural or lab grown — is independently certified by a recognised gemological institution such as the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute). These certificates confirm the stone's exact cut, colour, clarity and carat weight.
We are fully committed to responsible sourcing and only work with suppliers who comply with rigorous ethical standards. You can shop with complete confidence that your stone has been sourced and handled with integrity.
Yes — while diamonds are our core speciality, we also work with a carefully selected range of coloured gemstones, including:
- Sapphires
- Rubies
- Emeralds
- Other gemstones available on request
It's worth noting that not all gemstones are equally suited to daily wear. Diamonds are the hardest, followed by sapphires and rubies, then emeralds. We will always advise on durability and suitability when helping you choose your stone.
The 4Cs are the universal standard for assessing diamond quality. Here's a brief guide to each:
- Cut — the most important factor. An excellent cut maximises brilliance and sparkle regardless of colour or clarity grade.
- Colour — graded from D (completely colourless) to Z (noticeable yellow tint). D–F are colourless; G–H are near-colourless and offer excellent value.
- Clarity — refers to natural internal characteristics. Most imperfections are invisible to the naked eye, so you don't need the highest grade for a stunning result.
- Carat — a measure of weight. A higher carat generally means a larger-looking stone, though shape and cut also influence how large a diamond appears.
Our gemmologists will guide you through each factor and help you find the ideal balance for your budget. Visit our Diamond Guide to learn more.

Absolutely — that is precisely what our consultations are designed for. Some clients arrive with a clear vision; others come in with nothing more than a rough budget and an open mind. Either way, our team will help you explore the possibilities and find what feels right.
If you have a loose idea of the diamond shapes you like or a budget range in mind, that's a great starting point. Beyond that, we'll take care of the rest. There is no commitment required.
Design & Customisation
Yes — bespoke design is one of our greatest strengths. Whether you're envisioning a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, a personalised pendant or a unique wedding band, we'll work with you to bring it to life.
The process begins with a design consultation where you'll work closely with our jewellery designers to refine your ideas. Every bespoke piece is crafted in-house to the highest standards.
Yes — always. Once your design is agreed, we'll produce a detailed 3D CAD render so you can view your ring from every angle before a single piece of metal is worked. For more complex or intricate designs, we can also create a physical wax model for you to see in person.
You'll have full opportunity to request adjustments before production begins. We want you to feel completely certain before we start crafting.
Yes — you always have the final say on your stone. Your specialist will present a hand-picked selection of diamonds or gemstones matched to your design, budget and quality preferences. We'll guide you through the key characteristics so you can choose with confidence.
Every stone is independently certified, and we never rush the selection process — this is one of the most important decisions you'll make.
Quality is built into every stage of our process. Each piece is handcrafted by our skilled in-house team and undergoes multiple rounds of quality control checks — from initial design approval through to final polish and inspection.
All jewellery is UK hallmarked in accordance with legal requirements, and all diamonds and gemstones carry independent certification. Our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty gives you complete peace of mind in the years ahead.

Yes. We offer one complimentary resize within 60 days of delivery or collection. After that, resizing is available at our standard service rate.
Some styles — such as full eternity bands or rings with continuous stone settings — may be more complex to resize. Our team will always advise on the best approach for your specific ring.
We recommend a professional clean and inspection once or twice a year. This helps maintain the ring's brilliance and allows us to check that all stones are secure and the setting is intact.
You're always welcome to pop into the showroom — no appointment necessary for a quick clean. It's a simple habit that makes a significant difference to the long-term condition of your ring.
Please contact us as soon as possible. Bring the ring in for an in-house assessment and we'll advise on the best course of action — whether that's a repair, stone replacement or resetting.
We strongly recommend insuring your jewellery, particularly high-value pieces, to cover accidental damage, loss or theft. We can advise on reputable jewellery insurance specialists upon request.
